Refund policy
How failed rewrites and payment refund requests are handled.
Last updated: 2026-10-02
Failed rewrite: word allowance
If a rewrite fails, the word allowance charged for that failed task is returned automatically. This is a usage adjustment, not a refund to your payment method. If the allowance does not return, contact support with the task reference and approximate time.
A completed rewrite that you dislike is not automatically a failed task. You can edit the result yourself; submitting another rewrite uses the word allowance shown in the editor.
Payment refund requests
For a duplicate charge, a purchase you cannot access, or another billing problem, submit a support ticket. Include the order reference, charge date, and a short description. Never send your full card number or password.
We review payment refund requests based on the payment record, service delivered, and any rights that apply to your purchase. This page does not offer an unconditional money-back guarantee or promise a particular approval time. Where approved, refunds are processed through the payment provider; its processing time determines when funds appear.
Subscriptions and cancellation
If you purchased a recurring subscription, use subscription settings to view its status and available cancellation controls. Cancellation and refund are separate actions. Review the effective date in the subscription screen; cancelling does not automatically reverse an earlier charge.
Consumer rights
Nothing in this policy removes mandatory rights under applicable consumer law. If your concern is not covered above, explain it through Contact & support so it can be reviewed.
